Sheila Strand is a communications and marketing strategist with over 25 years experience, with a particular specialty in health care.  She is President of Strand Communications Strategies, a national marketing strategy firm based in Washington, DC.  Sheila is the former CEO of Clinicare, the largest home care provider in Kansas, and previously served as a communications executive with St. Mary's Hospital, Kansas City, Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital, Texas, and the American College of Cardiology, Washington, DC.  Sheila began her career as a professional journalist with The Des Moines Register and The Kansas City Star.  She holds an M.S. from Johns Hopkins University and B.S. from Drake University.
