For almost a decade, J Street has helped its Clients achieve successful results, including:

Alion Science & Technology

J Street helped this prominent defense contractor develop a go-to-market strategy to commercialize technology for the private sector.  Our counsel spanned business strategy and orgainization, branding, marketing plan development, and in the trenches sales support including outsourced marketing management within the company.

American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases

J Street has been called upon by AASLD for several assignments over the years.  Most recently we advised the Executive Director on the organizational structure and staff assignments to meet the challenges of a modern, web-centric information delivery system for more than 3,000 member physicians and 20,000 attendees at the annual Liver Meeting.

American College of Cardiology

J Street created and launched a successful new international meeting for subspecialty physicians in cardiology.  We developed everything from naming and logo design to a comprehensive marketing plan, advertising and collateral materials.  The target audience included more than 20 thousand interventional cardiologists from around the world.

Court Appointed Special Advocates

When the Court Appointed Special Advocates of Fairfax County issued an RFP for a new advertising campaign, J Street responded with a recommendation not for design, but for research and strategy.  We examined the mindset and motivation of CASA volunteers – the special individuals who speak for adoptive and foster care children in the court system – and discovered a need for more information and better prospect screening.  The end result was a cost effective video presentation and online questionnaire to help recruit new volunteers and donors (www.speakforthechildren.org). The new strategic program can serve as a model for future CASA recruitment.

George Mason University

The J Street team facilitated the development of a new Mission Statement for the School of Management.  We conducted interviews and facilitated sessions with more than 30 faculty members, as well as the Dean and senior staff of the School.

Howrey LLP

J Street served as strategic marketing partner and advertising agency for this top international law firm from 2001-2008.  During that time we developed new brand positioning, launched and managed an acclaimed advertising campaign that ran for over 5 years.  Serving as outsourced Marketing Management, we led dozens of strategy, research, design and planning projects including creation of a new logo and brand identity for the firm.  J Street even placed the firm in a major Hollywood movie to promote Howrey's reputation as an innovative leader in law firm marketing. MITRE Corporation

J Street prepared detailed go-to-market strategies for two new, leading edge inventions being commercialized by this unique national not-for-profit technology organization.  MITRE has a federal charter to work in the public interest, supporting both domestic and defense related missions.  J Street’s work included market research, technology analysis, and preparation of plans for commercialization of new IP.

Spirent Communications

Our team was called upon to undertake a major project to re-brand and re-name more than 300 hardware products, while assisting in organizing a new marketing team made up of participants from more than a dozen merged independent technology firms.

University of Miami

J Street advised the senior leadership of the University and the School of Medicine on building a new brand for all University of Miami medical services.  Now called the University of Miami Health System – UHealth – this new brand encompasses 3 major hospitals, more than a dozen specialized clinics, 1,200 physicians and 8,000 staff.  The project took more than 3 years and involved everything from trademarks and logos to advertising campaign development of over 100 design applications for launch of the new health system. U.S. Census Bureau

In partnership with Grafik Communications, J Street has led marketing strategy and planning for The Economic Census since 2005.  The engagement began with research, brand positioning and creation of a new online portal for business information (www.business.census.gov).  Our work continues today with marketing plan and partnership development in advance of the next survey of American businesses in 2012.

WorthPoint Corporation

We drafted the business plan, prepared financial projections, created the name and brand positioning, developed a strategic marketing plan, recruited management team members, and assisted in organizing this startup business in the online marketplace.  To date Worthpoint has raised more than $7 million in venture funding – it is now the world's leading online community for antiques and collectibles.  (www.worthpoint.com)
